Lisburn, Thiepval Barracks

The City of Lisburn is located just off the M1 Motorway and is the perfect base for visiting both the North and South of Ireland. The City offers many activities from the multi-screen cinema to the unique LeisurePlex with many slides for all ages.

Thiepval Barracks has a swimming pool, gym, climbing wall and sports hall.  Clubs include sub aqua, ju-jitsu and climbing.  There is a NAAFI shop, PRI gift shop, barbers and forces post office on camp along with an excellent library and education centre for both personnel and dependants. The HIVE offers free broadband internet service, fax, photocopier, laminator, fax-bluey and storybook soldiers facilities. There is a youth club, a parent and toddler group, crèche and nursery. There are the usual mess facilities,bars for the Junior Ranks and café on the camp.
